Exterior of Lincoln Navigator 2016
Major changes can be noticed when it comes to the exterior design.
The new Navigator radiates masculinity, strength and power. The grille, bumpers and all its sharp edges speak in favor of it. Also, new LED headlights and taillights have been installed, adding some more masculine touch.
It has 4 doors and a huge cargo space, which is perfectly convenient for transporting great quantities of goods and materials. There is also the option of moon roof over the front seats.
In addition to the redesign plan, the body of the vehicle is said to have been covered in materials such as aluminum and steel. Which makes it look even cooler and tougher.
2016 Lincoln Navigator Interior
2016 Lincoln Navigator is equipped with the innovative features which make the car operate faster.
The cabin seems to be really luxurious and cozy, with 8-way power, height-adjustable passenger and driver’s seats wrapped in premium leather. It also includes three-row seating and bucket seats. So, both the driver and the passengers should feel comfortable inside the car.
It’s also much more spacious than that of the 2007 Lincoln Navigator.
The car is equipped with an amazing MyLincoln Touch infotainment system which keeps up to date with the current trends. It offers Bluetooth, 14-speaker surround sound audio system, reclining rear seat, digital keypad door locks, power mirrors, power windows touch, compass, clock, trip computer and much, much more.
Control stash and instrument board are updated, while speedometer is now digitalized with two screens displaying speed.
Engine and performance
The Navigator will be using a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 Ford engine as standard on all Navigators. Twin turbo engine is said to deliver more than 370 hp and 430 pound-feet of torque, is mated to a 6-speed automatic, and sends the power to either the rear or all four wheels. New Navigator acceleration from 0-60 mph reaches for 6.6 sec, while fuel economy is 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.
This powerplant will replace the previous 5.4-liter V8 engine, and should offer better fuel economy.
