The compact-crossover SUV market segment is becoming more attractive to automakers. This is fueled by many buyers who are ditching minivans and sedans in favor of the more performing crossovers which thankfully are offered at fair prices.
The 2016 Nissan Rogue is one of the best models in this category. Its enthusiasts love its fuel efficiency and stylish cabin. The new model is set to offer even a more stylish interior and a better performance. Following its redesign in 2014, the model did very well in the market prompting Nissan to ship in more than 100,000 units this past year to the US alone.
As the sales indicate, the automaker did a good job in 2014. Not wanting to spoil a good thing, the 2016 model features just mild touches. The standout new feature in the new Rogue is the foot-activated tailgate. This is the feature Ford has been making a lot of noise about. Nissan aims at using this feature to claim parity with Ford.
