2017 Nissan Juke

After being loved and criticized with equal measure, Nissan is readying a new Juke set to be released next year. Then new Juke which goes by the name “ 2017 Nissan Juke” has been significantly redesigned and features a more elegant exterior and an improved and more comfortable interior. The automaker targets to sell around 10,000 units in the first year only signaling their huge expectations they have placed on the model.

2017 Nissan Juke Exterior

The new 2017 Nissan Juke features a new elegant look starting with its standard combination of yellow and black exterior color trim. The new design was created by the same designers who created the Nissan Micra.

The new look is bold and expressive and is meant to attract a new bred of customers. The Juke is offered in three trim levels just like the current outgoing model; they are the base Visia, middle level Acento and top-of-the-line Tekna.  The new 2017 Nissan Juke is based on the CMF-A platform and has utilized a good mix of carbon-fiber and aluminum to come up with a light but strong vehicle.



To start with, the new 2017 Juke has been hooked up with a new dimensional grille which resembles that of the new Qashqai. The front bumper has also been redesigned.  Headlights, taillights and daytime running lights feature the LED technology though higher trims will feature new Xenon headlights. The top part of the front bumper resembles that of Nissan 370 Z coupe. The exterior features redesigned mirrors which now feature LED turn signals. At the top, the vehicle features a large panoramic sunroof. The 2017 Nissan Juke will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels in basic trim level.

Though interior details are still scarce, we have established that the vehicle will accommodate 6 passengers meaning its cabin is really spacious. The 2017 Nissan Juke will also feature a new infotainment system and modern tech features such as Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and iPad facility among others. For safety purposes, the Juke will be hooked up with enhanced Takata airbags, park assist and a blind spot monitoring system among others. Engine Specs and Performance

The 2017 Nissan Juke will feature an array of power-trains under its hood. The new Juke will receive a new 1.0 L, 3-cylinder engine. This is the engine propelling the Nissan Micra. There are also reports of a new diesel engine. According to rumors the unit will be a 1.5 L, turbocharged diesel engine capable of producing 240 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque.

Another engine will be a 2.4 L, twin-turbo gasoline engine capable of producing 220 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque. This gasoline engine accelerates the Juke from 0-60 mph in 8 seconds. In terms of transmission, Nissan will feature a 6-speed automatic transmission system, a CVT transmission system or a 6-speed manual transmission which uses a 4 instrument gearbox.

The Nissan Juke 2017  is estimated to deliver fuel economy of around 24 mpg on city drives and 34 mpg on highway. Keep tuned for more information on the Juke’s drive-trains. The Juke will be offered in both AWD and FWD. The vehicle will have a top speed of 130 mph.

Price and release date

As of this writing, there has been no official communication from Nissan about the 2017 Nissan Juke price or release date. However, the model is expected to be offered to Nissan dealerships in second part of 2016. In terms of price, the base model is expected to have a starting MSRP price of around $ 20,000 and up to $ 29,000 for top trim models.
