The 2015 Infiniti Q70 has introduced the fresh exterior redesign and a long wheelbase which provides more leg space for the rear-seat passengers.
2015 Infiniti Q70 follows its own unique and original style – a new character line goes from the front, with an extended wheelbase which draws the shape out, over the curvy sides, to the aslope, short trunk, ending near the rear taillights.
Most attention has been given to the new lighting design and the redesign of “double arch” grille, which gained a new 3D look. The front bumper has undergone some amends (it’s more slender now), there are new inset fog lamps, new LED rear lamps and a flat trunk lid.
A Sport model is comes with a more aggressive front design, 20-inch rolling stock and the lower part of the rear bumper covered in black gloss.
The cabin is still driver-focused, wood-filled and wrapped in semi-aniline leather and cool stiches. However, thanks to the long wheelbase model, the 2015 Infiniti Q70 has brought many new features. The doors have been designed to enhance efortless entry and exit. An optional rear door auto-close is offered for the first time. The Q70 is equipped with heated rear seats, 12v power outlets and personal reading lights.
In order for the overall driving impression to be enhanced, the NVH levels have been lowered, resulting in top-class isolation and quietness.
The center stack’s orderly organized buttons and climate controls are placed under a large LCD screen.
As for the entertainment part, the Q70 comes with a 16-speakers Bose Studio Surround stereo system.
Engine and performance
The vehicle uses the same 3.7-liter, VQ series V-6 engine and 5.6-liter, V-8 return propulsion duties. 3.7-liter engine produces 330 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque, whereas V-8 engine produces 420 hp and 417 pound-feet of torque.
No matter which engine the customer chooses, the Q70 will come with 7-speed automatic gearbox with manual shift mode, AWD is available as well.
The 2015 Infiniti Q70 is available in three different models distinguished by powertrain: the Q70 3.7, the Q70 5.6, and the Q70 Hybrid. The Q70 3.7 and 5.6 models are available with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. The Q70 Hybrid is rear-drive only.
