Porsche has worked on the lightness of the latest version of the Spyder model. It has the manually operated top, an impeccable design feature.
The vehicle’s racy front and rear fascias, same as the ones on Cayman GT4, are what makes it distinctive from its other “cousins”. The apron employs a new splitter and the air inlets are much larger. There is a slim air dam which is placed in front of the forward luggage section (also taken from Cayman GT4).
At the rear part, there is a slightly larger spoiler between the tail lamps.

Engine and performance
The 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder will be using 911 Carrera S’ 3.8-liter flat-6 engine, whose production has been reduced to 375 horsepower in the Spyder. But still, as already mentioned, the Spyder is the most powerful and the quickest Boxster yet. It accelerates 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than the GTS model. As for the top speed, the vehicle can reach impressive 180 mph. The Spyder is the first Boxster with a 6-speed manual.
