The interior of the 2016 Toyota Avensis provides a higher level of comfort, which was one of Toyota’s primary goals. The cabin looks more sophisticated and elegant, which has been achieved through new trim and color schemes. NVH levels have been significantly improved, through the utilization of thicker materials which provide sound absorption and insulation. Air conditioning noise reduction has been improved through heater air duct seal lip integration.
The control panel consists of two volumes: the upper element with an instrument binnacle containing a tachometer and speedometer, and the lower element which contains a center console separated from the transmission tunnel.
As for the seats, a luxurious look has been achieved through fabric and Alcantra upholstery as well as Dual Ambient color scheme: Terracotta and Light Grey. Front seat design has been readjusted to facilitate long distance driving.
